The location was excellent, right off the grassmarket, it made getting around so easy. Facilities within the apartment were also nice, especially the well-equipped kitchen. beds were very comfortable, even though the two singles were pushed together to make a large double. this arrangement suited my needs well.
I had some difficulty with the electric window curtain in my room. It wasn't working. it was a bit inconvenient not having control over the light levels in the room.

the staff provided fresh milk and water in the fridge upon arrival, a nice touch after a long journey. the reception staff were friendly and their attitude was lovely, it made settling in much easier.

the apartment had everything i needed! the kitchen was well equipped, i found fresh milk and water in the fridge. the room decor was attractive. i appreciated its proximity to major attractions.
The sound insulation wasn't perfect. I was occasionally disturbed by external noises.

The location was great and close to everything. Taxis are easily accessible. the hotel is near a hop-on and hop-off bus tour stop! the castle view apartments overlook edinburgh castle.

my room faced the courtyard. the view consisted of brick walls. i also discovered the minibar prices were quite high. a small bottle of water cost nearly four pounds and snacks were also overpriced. next time i will buy provisions from a local store instead.

i found the apartment very clean. the facilities were modern and well-kept. the location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions and public transport.
The heating system was a little tricky to adjust. I couldn't find an ideal temperature setting.

The staff showed great friendliness upon my arrival. I found a handwritten note with complimentary Irn Bru and Tunnock's tea cake in my room, a very thoughtful gesture. Its location is excellent, a short walk to the Grassmarket with many bars. I really enjoyed the accessibility to local attractions.
I noticed the fan in my room ran constantly, even when I switched the power off.
